Galston artist Matt Cairns has painted for a great number of years gradually developing lovely soft tones in both oils and pastels.
Over the years he has put together a large portfolio of local Ayrshire Scenes both sea and landscapes which many will recognise. On a nice day he can be often seen at the road side or in a field with his easel and paint brushes.
